As a Buddy, you’ll be matched one-on-one with a special needs camper for the entire week — and your most important job is simply this: be a friend.
Some campers are highly independent and just need a genuine companion by their side, while others may need a little extra help with things like getting dressed, eating, or navigating the restroom.
No matter the need, you show up with a heart ready to serve.
Cabin Hand - Hands of Kindness
Ages 14-16
As a Cabin Hand, you’ll work alongside cabin parents, buddies, and the recreation crew to help make camp a fun and meaningful experience for every camper.
This is an ideal starting point for teens who want to develop leadership skills, gain hands-on experience with special needs individuals, and grow toward a future Buddy role.
Cabin Hands serve under the direct supervision of camp administration, cabin parents, and leadership.
